Survey: Is it time for Harrison Ford to fight back against aging?

Harrison Ford has been no fan of plastic surgery as far back as his early 20s, when an accident in Laguna Canyon gave the young actor his trademark scar.

With Ford starring in the fourth Indiana Jones film at age 65, his face shows signs of age, but it’s not all that different from seven years ago, when a survey of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery declared he had an “ideal face of masculinity,” behind only Mel Gibson and George Clooney.

Some celebrity watchers advise him to seek help from cosmetic doctors to fight back against the signs of aging. The “Make Me Heal” blog, for example, suggests that Ford needs:

A facelift for the jowls along his jawline and crepey neck, a blepharoplasty to remove the pockets of fat under his eyes and the hooding over the top of his eyes, and some Botox, Restylane or Juvederm to iron out some of the tapestry of deep furrows on his forehead, nasolabial folds, and crows feet.

Ford “most likely hasn’t had any plastic surgery, but is beginning to look his age and would benefit from a turn at the scalpel,” according to plastic surgeons Dr. John Di Saia of San Clemente and Dr. Paul Nassif of Beverly Hills, cited in the blog.
