No, says music mogul and “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell, 48. “It looks ridiculous on guys.”
Plastic surgery for women?
“I’d make it compulsory for every woman over 40.”
That’s not a recent quip, but it’s making the rounds again, including this week’s “Simon Cowell: All Women Over 40 Should Get Plastic Surgery” post in the Make Me Heal blog.
For that comment, Cowell was declared “Idiot of the Day” by one blogger back in 2005.
The British magazine Now is more understanding:
The record producer is proud of his groomed look and believes women of a certain age should take as much pride in their appearance as he does.
Cowell is open about his use of Botox, but says he wants no plastic surgery for himself.
