BATTLE OF WILLS

Ordinarily, “Hell’s Kitchen” chef Gordon Ramsay is no pushover. But “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell is even more strong-willed, and a big fan of Botox too.

So when the two met, Cowell turned Ramsay into a Botox user.

“Yeah, it’s Simon’s fault,” Ramsay said in a recent interview.  “I had lunch with him and he leaned over and started prodding my chin saying, ‘Mate, you’ve got to do something about this.’  …

“I mean, I know I’ve always had a face like Freddy Krueger, but more and more people were commenting on my chin. A make-up artist actually said to me, ‘God, what happened to you? Did you have an accident when you were little? Did you fly through the windscreen with no seatbelt on?’ ”

Ramsay didn’t try to eliminate the wrinkles in his forehead, which are part of his distinctive look. But even after Botox injections in his chin, no one noticed any improvement — including his mother, he said.

“When I was talking to my mum about all that’s been going on … she said, ‘Keep your chin up’. I said, ‘Yeah, well at least I’ve got a new one of those’, but it went over her head.”

Cowell, by the way, says he thinks that using Botox is as routine as using toothpaste, but insists he’ll never color his hair.

I don’t think the Botox made such a big difference. Be secure enough in your talents and as a person to not need poison injected into your face. I love Gordon’s show and his personality.

Sucker! I have told Simon to shove the Botox up his rear end. If any of my friends tell me I am looking old, my response is because I AM. I refuse to join the throngs of fakes! End of story.

Now, if they just had an injection for Mr. Ramsay’s nasty attitude toward his employees!!! I’m sorry, but that kind of scene would curdle my dinner. I’ve complained in restaurants where that kind of public abuse has been taking place, and I won’t go back. And, oh, by the way, the customers CAN hear that kind of nonsense through those swinging doors.
