CARRIE PREJEAN IS STILL QUEEN
Carrie Prejean has been removed from the role of California beauty queen, but plastic surgeon Dr. John Di Saia still considers her “the queen of natural-looking breast implants.”
He praises her selection of relatively small breast implants, which she got last winter in preparation for the Miss USA pageant.
Organizers of the California pageant, who deposed Prejean over a contract dispute, recently demanded that she pay back $5,200 that they gave her for the implants.
In this week’s online “In Your Face CHAT,” Di Saia expressed no opinion about that legal tussle, but he praised Prejean for her choice of small implants and for having them placed under the chest muscle, which makes them less prominent.
“Beauty queens frequently go too large to look natural,” he said. “Models tend to ’super size’ their breasts. They tend to look more fake.”
“Carrie’s result is subtle. Too subtle for some women. Just right for others,” said Di Saia, who has an office in San Clemente and is preparing to open a second one in Huntington Beach.
In the chat, I pointed out that not all plastic surgeons agree with him either on the placement of the implants or on the end result. For example, plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Niccole of Newport Beach told the “In Your Face CHAT” in May that Prejean’s breast implants are in an unnatural position.
“The implants appear to be placed on top of the muscle, which allows you to see the outline of the implant more … making them look less natural,” he said. And they’re relatively far apart, which creates a “a less natural-looking cleavage,” he said.
In response to Niccole’s position, Di Saia said this week, “Smaller implants tend to look more apart.”
He added, “It is really academic as neither Dr Niccole or I did the case.”
But he didn’t back away from his praise of the work that Prejean had done.
“If you can’t tell, it is subtle. Carrie’s result is subtle,” he said.

That second photo makes her breasts seem amazingly fake - look how far apart and how round they are. Not very attractive.

They look fake. So I would say that is not “subtle.”

Why is this news?
Too far apart and too ball-ish looking. You’re not playing softball, honey.
The top photos has her in a tshirt so it is hard to compare to her natural look to the fake looking ones that she has to live with now.
Guys like the softness of naturals.
And, the religous right are parading this trash around as a role model. I sure do not want my kids following her disgusting morals: parading around half naked and faking her looks.
it’s a beauty pageant, what did you expect. just because someone has a religion and isn’t hush-hush about it, you need to disparage them.
and the implants were the Miss California board’s idea to give her a better shot of winning the national title. she went along with it because it was their title and she took their advice. she obviously isn’t going to go appear in Playboy or anywhere like that now that she has them.
Oh please. Every woman I know who has breast implants treats them as if they are to be seen and felt by anyone and everyone. One co-worker actually lifted up her shirt so I could see. Don’t kid yourself, anyone who “goes along with” getting a foreign object put into his/her body wants it done. I give her a year before she’s parading those puppies in Playboy or similar venue.

I just don’t get it - why are beauty pageants even held anymore- it’s 2009? They are demeaning to women in every respect. Even more disturbing, why is this woman making the news -because she has “natural looking” fake boobs? If you can tell they’re fake - and really, they look like two halves of a ball stuck on a skinny girl’s chest - they’re not subtle. The saddest part of this whole story is that this is news. No, I take that back: The saddest part is I’m commenting on the fact that this is news.
The boobs look fake in that picture, sorry. As for whether the pageant should get their money back, I guess they should refer back to the contract they had with her.
OK, if these knuckleheads want the tata’s back, then let them pay to have them removed and take the static for doing that! They paid for something and now they shouldn’t be able to pull back on it because of some political skirmish. And that’s all this is!
It does say a lot about the pageant though! They actually paid for breast implants for their contestants. Sure makes you wonder what the real reason is for having the pageant…..
That plastic surgeon needs eye surgery because those look about as fake as they can get in that second picture.

I personally believe, that most U.S. Americans don’t have breast implants because they don’t have maps, and the U.S. should help those, such as, those in the Iraq, and South Africa, so the world can be at peace.
