Survey: Has cosmetic work made Victoria Principal look like a different person?

Photos of actress Victoria Principal, 58, have led celebrity watchers to conclude that she has finally turned to plastic surgery. In the past she has denied it, but she also said she wouldn’t publicize the fact if she did decide to undergo plastic surgery to preserve her appearance.

The CareFair site, for example, recently said “the stark differences in the actress’s features and the tightness of the skin reveals that she has had a facelift.”

The former star of “Dallas” told ET last year: “It’s sad when I see a woman who has done things to herself in an effort to look younger, and instead she looks some way she never looked before.”

She has her own Principal Secret line of skin-care and anti-aging products, which began when she hired a chemist in 1973 to devise new facial cleansers and moisturizers, because she was allergic to many ingredients in makeup.

She told People magazine last year that she hadn’t had plastic surgery, although she was married to a plastic surgeon for 21 years.

“I’ve never had a face-lift, or a professional peel or lasers,” she said. She declined to answer questions about whether she had used Botox or dermal fillers such as Restylane. She said: “Do I believe in plastic surgery? Yes. If I decide to do something, is there going to be a story about it? Absolutely not.”

“I kind of like the way things are,” she said. “And although there is a southward shift, it fits me.”
